Breaking News: Sugar-free responsible for 41,239 deaths

Updated: May 27, 2022

Don't add to the body count.

This figure only applies to the Philippines. According to World Health Organization (WHO) figures, 1.5 million people have died directly as a result of this global health concern, and the number is growing.

What caused this to happen?

The answer:

sugar-free.

Let me explain.

Whenever you go to your local grocery shop, you will notice a plethora of companies declaring their product to be sugar-free. When, in fact, the vast majority are not. Are they conscious of what they're doing? I'm not certain either. What is more important here, in my opinion, is for the general population to become more educated about what they are dealing with. If a stranger offered you food while claiming it's safe, would you accept it simply just like that? I didn't think so.

Listen carefully so you don't fall for the same ruse; who knows, you might even save some of the people you care about.

Let me first paint for you a picture to help you understand what I'm saying. Assume that one is being sued on two counts: forgery and bribery. Would he be regarded innocent if he was only found guilty of bribery and not of forgery? Of course not. He would still end up in jail. Now stay with me as I tell you what it has to do with sugar and sugar-free.

Sugar is merely a generic term with many different names. So, if you see a label that states sugar-free, you must look up the alternative names for sugar. I know you're enraged right now and you're saying, "Isn't it outright lying to declare it's sugar-free and then cover it up with a different name?"

At first, I was like that. Then I realized that because we were so eager to find a solution to our cravings without risking a blood sugar spike, we were blind to the idea that it was all a deception. The public, on the other hand, has become more wary.

Most people have discovered that sugar-free products are mostly false. They started checking their blood sugar levels before and after eating, much like their own scientists. Families have purchased sugar-free household kits and learned to think twice before purchasing the next sugar-free product they see in the shop. If you are still in disbelief as you read this, you have slipped behind.

However, if you've made it this far,

congratulations;

you're off to a terrific start.

But stay with me because there is another landmine you must avoid. Carbohydrates. This may be found in bold beneath the Nutrition Facts section of almost any food packaging you buy. Carbohydrates is just a fancy word for sugar. Even fewer individuals are aware of this. Carbohydrates can be found in starch, potatoes, and even fruits.

To provide you with a cheat sheet, here are some of the most popular names used to mask sugar in the ingredients list: xylitol, glucose, maltose, maltodextrin, and others. The entire list is available on our website, www.localowcarb.com. So, the next time you see someone you care about and they need to regularly monitor their blood sugar levels, check their kitchen cupboards and educate them.

Now that you're well-informed, it's up to you to prevent others from the silent killer known as diabetes. Be prepared, though, since when you tell them about it, you must provide a safe alternative. Equal Gold and Stevia Naturals are two sweeteners on the market that will not affect blood sugar levels, according to keto practitioners and health professionals (you're welcome!). I'm not suggesting that those are the only two sugar substitutes that are completely safe. Others include sucralose, erythritol, monkfruit, and others.

LoCa sugar-free house of cakes employs Stevia with a blend of Erythritol because our research team revealed that sucralose becomes a carcinogen (components that increase the risk of cancer) when heated to high temperatures, and monkfruit has a fruity aftertaste. I realize it's a lot. That is why we're here for you. There's nothing to be concerned about because our commitment to you is at the heart of all we do - your safety and your greatest pleasure. So now that you know what we value the most, we hope we have you on our side.

Share this with your family and friends by first, giving them a taste of what true sugar-free should be like, and second, inviting them to a sugar-free house of cakes. Do that and we'll take care of the rest. Just as what our LoCa guests say, once you enter the LoCa sugar-free house of cakes just in Metro Manila, there's no turning back. We can imagine you might be raising an eyebrow as you read this because you've been given false hopes for too much times. That's alright. After all, we were made to think that sugar-free means bland or just a sad attempt to replace our sweet cravings. If that was the case, even us wouldn't settle for sugar-free. So don't settle then. If anything in the LoCa sugar-free house of cakes nearby your place tastes anything like a compromise, then return it and get a refund. However, if it does deliver on its promise, stay. Stay with us and invite others to this new found home of dessert lovers. Would you like to know why you ought to do that?

It's because it becomes your responsibility now - to show them how to extend their prime years so that health is not a limitation but an ally in creating a better life.
